Education Scholarship Program

The Arghakhanchi Public Service Society (APSS) is pleased to announce the opening of applications for our annual scholarship program. This program aims to support talented and deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing their educational dreams.

**Scholarship Categories** 1. **Merit-Based Scholarships**: For students with outstanding academic performance 2. **Need-Based Scholarships**: For students from economically disadvantaged families 3. **Special Category Scholarships**: For students with disabilities, orphans, and those from marginalized communities 4. **Higher Education Scholarships**: For students pursuing bachelor's and master's degrees

**Eligibility Criteria** - Must be a resident of Arghakhanchi District - Must be enrolled in a recognized educational institution - Must demonstrate financial need (for need-based scholarships) - Must maintain good academic standing - Must be actively involved in community service

**Scholarship Benefits** - Full or partial tuition fee coverage - Book and stationery allowance - Monthly stipend for living expenses (for higher education students) - Mentorship and career guidance - Access to APSS library and resources

**Application Process** 1. Download the application form from our website or collect from APSS office 2. Fill out the form completely with all required documents 3. Submit before the deadline: February 28, 2025 4. Applications will be reviewed by a scholarship committee 5. Selected candidates will be notified by March 15, 2025

**Required Documents** - Completed application form - Academic transcripts and certificates - Proof of residence - Income certificate (for need-based scholarships) - Recommendation letters from teachers or community leaders - Recent passport-size photographs

**Selection Process** Applications will be evaluated based on: - Academic performance (40%) - Financial need (30%) - Community involvement (20%) - Personal statement and recommendations (10%)

**Impact** Last year, we supported 150 students across all palikas, enabling them to continue their education. Many of our scholarship recipients have gone on to achieve great success, contributing back to their communities.
